hey, just wonderin who cruises the streets of devonport? i'm joe, i've lived in devonport for about 12 years. my current daily drive(when i CAN drive again, broken arm) is my RT132 corona liftback:
other than that, project UZX22 is making some progress. my BFI is ready to go, but i've still got a lot of work to do.

i think they're quite a good motor with potential. as i said to you before, the ports are tiny, with an early 4M head, and a new cam it'd hammer. of course, it's not worth it when you can just buy a 2JZ.![]()

Yeah, theres no point spending any money on the 5me when a 2jzge can be picked up for way under a grand, its just theres a few extras to be added to get it in and working.
I hope its not a BHG as I really didn't want to crack it open, and finances would be better off spent on other things at the moment rather than a 2j (as much as I would love to).
Oil and water are fine but I havent had time to check it out properly, may simply be a dead lead (happened Sunday night).
Edit: it was a blocked injector, all fixed now![]()

Well I'm the 4th ...
I’ve had a mighty 4m Boat anchor, well it Became one shortly after breaking a con rod and launching it through the side of the block (no fun).
The car was actually Joe’s first MK2 sedan; I have pics of it when it was in its prime and of the aftermath baseball sized hole in the 5th cylinder.
My last drive was a 71 B110 1200 coup’s fast back, had 14in Challengers under it with 195/65R14 tires which were rather hard to fit when the standard were 12" cheese cutters.
It handled like a go-cart, but never the less the satanic god of Holden cast it into the firey depths of hell (I was t-boned by a Hundi Excel) got pics of that too.... will post them in due time.
Cheers,
Dennis
