yeah I thought the same until I read up on the engine specs/variants of the 162's and 184's and the like in the Haynes manual. 3S-FE, 3S-GE, 4A-GE, 5S-FE and would you believe even a 2S engine is included?

Wouldn't that then make it an AT162?

Edit - Don't do what has been suggested and convert a 165 to RWD, IMHO if you buy something that was initially set up for RWD you will be better off (sprinter?).

    Arse-dragging isn't drifting
Hellishly fun though, maccas trays, wet carparks and my old AE82 gave me many a good time

in short, AT162 = Corona-Celica (2-door coupe with non-pop-up lights, same shell design as ST modelled ST162 coupe), but I'm sure there were further small details (exterior/interior designs, etc.) which would segregate it from the ST series as well, other than the 4A engine.

Haha that brings back memories of my mate doing just that in his civic. Replaced the box not long after that I believe, and I think his current one is getting there too. He's the type of guy that wonders why he breaks stuff all the time.

You mean apart from asking (in lowercase with no punctuation) how hard it is to turn a FF car into FR?
