translated-need a metal headgasket. where can i get one other than a toyota dealer
thanx
hello loyal subjects, i am king carlione of nargovilla and i need some parts for my 1ggte
anyone know where to get a decent quality headgasket from? i have searched from east to west of my vast realm and have not managed to ascertain the location of any yet, other than the towering fortress of the official toyota parts dealer which would drain my royal treasury to nothing
any ideas anyone?

Maybe if you raise taxes your treasury will be in better health.
Beware your subjects if you do so though, as your head may be removed.
Even a metal head gasket cannot save you then.
oem toyota is only $99 not exactly a bank breaker.
read here .. ie good luck finding one.

Its been said plenty on here that toyota is the best, and i double checked with Matt Gilmour, owns HYPO77, 10.16 ra23 with 1g. Uses all standard toyota gaskets. Said to me straight off the gun, just use standard gasket kit. Best there is...
He was making 450hp on standard HG too... So they work

HKS made a final run, then destroyed the moulds. fucking bored apprentices!! why destroy them ffs. just put them away somewhere.

1J's use a Multi layer gasket standard, hence why they don't have HG problems.
1G's use a composite style gasket. Unfortunately there is no other option other than Genuine Toyota now.
