Talked to a mate of mine who's done it a few times and he reckons Sikaflex 291 is the go. I was using 252 and it's maybe 25% - 50% as good as Liquid Nails.
Fingers crossed the 291 is a much better thing.

Look through the Loctite catalog. They make a glue for everything...

....just dont use it to hold engine mounts together because it doesn't work. ask CoFF33!

he used gutter sealant.

256 windscreen adheseive by sikaflex is what you want.

it sticks metal to glass, so i dont see why it wouldnt stick metal to metal, it aint cheap though

That's the one, it doesn't smell like real bananas, but it does remind me of banana lollies...doesn't taste like bananas though

fair enough, we've had to go in and repair a few failed attempts at nailing, fucks the sheets right up lol.

Nath, your right, it tastes horrible, only managed to fuck up enough once to munch on it though, never again.

judging by the strangle hold it make when you get it in your hair, it should stick anything!

Just getting the chassis ready to be painted, and this is the new backrest panel.



All going well it'll be painted tomorrow.

We also started on getting the floor panel ready and all going well that and the sides should go on Tuesday or Wednesday.

A couple of big days - Got the floor and both sides on, the backrest, one of the interior panels, and made a good start on the electrics.



Tomorrow off to the fibreglass shop to get the nose done.

At least I really feel like we're making progress!
