Hey all just a nice twisty road drive on a Friday night.


When: Friday May 25th.
Where: Meeting at the Clubs Meeting spot the Hills Alliance Church Windsor Road Baulkham Hills.
Time: 700 for a & 7:30 leave


Destination and route:

We'll head out along Windsor and Old Windsor road to Richmond, where we'll turn left and head towards Penrith. Before we reach Penrith we'll turn right and head up Springwood road, towards Springwood. Halfway up we'll stop at the look out and have a chat. From there we'll continue up and head towards Springwood, turn left down the GWH. As we get into Lawson I think it is we'l head left and dissappear down the one way Mitchells Pass.

Depending on the mood we may head to Maccas and KK at Penrith or find an alternate place to have a chat at the end of the cruise.

What to bring: It will be cold up the mountain so bring your Woolies

It should be a good night with plenty of Twistys to go thru

You gotta go past Lawson, all the way down to Blaxland,
turn LEFT at the lights just before maccas Blaxland, and follow that road to Mitchells.
spent much of my early driving years doing laps of this awesome road.
In the wet, its even better!

If I have my MZ20 soarer by then, I'll come along. Don't think I could keep up in the lux!

Just a note guys, do not make excessive noise near the top of springwood when coming out of the top corner back it off and cruise into the lookout, also I suggest not hanging around the top too long or making too much noise up there.

The locals will call the cops as they are sick of ppl racing up and down the pass.

I live like 5 minutes from the windy bit, near the statr of springwood road.. But i have an n14 pulsar for a daily, shame on me :O!

Is there any plan to stop before we start heading up the range?

Also, I've been warned by a local of the area that once you're up on top of the range to watch yourself, the local police have been cracking down on speeders. But we're all responsible anyway, so this warning shouldn't matter.

I'll try my best to get to this one. A hit of Aqua Golf after the cruise might be fun too

will bring the corolla out for it though... the Mr2 is having problems keeping the dash lights on so not real keen to drive it at night on an unfamiliar road.
