BrianRA23, there is a fix for the airbag light, available on the Soarer Central forums. The cause of said light is also discussed in detail.
cheers Chuck.
I just bought a 1991 Aristo 3.0V grade 4.5 with 58,000km with the only fault being that the airbag warning light is on.
It is not due in OZ for a month, and it may just be a blown fuse, but I thought I might get myself organised to save having to buy expensive replacement parts from Toyota.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram or a faulting finding procedure? Diagnostic codes?
Is there someone who has a front cut with spares for the airbag system they are not going to need for their conversion? I would greatly appreciate them just to have as spares. For that matter any other bits for the JZS147 Aristo would be nice to have such as lights, grill, etc.
I am in Perth, but depending on the bits I will be happy to pay to have them shipped.
thanks
