    Default ta22 pigrooting??

my car is a bit of a jumper, it doesnt like to go straight, it likes to bounce sideways on the road, recently i read an article in a magazine about the evo9 and aparently when it gets lowered it does the same thing my car does, they just put in diffrent angle ball joints to fix it.

is there a diffrent angle ball joint for the ta22??

anyone else had to fix this problem?
Looking for a new toy. If you have something 18r powered let me know.

    Bump Steer - google search.

Yes, lowering cars completely ruins the steering and suspension geometry.

RCA's are used on cars like TA22s.

    Like bannanabender said...

Triple T (above link) have ones which give massif -tve camber for race use... not real good for road. Remember that AE86 items fit pre-RA60 celicas.

yeah, but spoontah struts have the same bolt pattern as the celicas... so they are re-labelling the same product. Toyota did this with many things so they could charge you double for the same ball joint if you bought it for a celica as to if you bought it for a corona/corolla.

lilcrash: you may just need a wheel alignment?

my ra40 has lots of toe-out (bent steering arm maybe?) and it pulls left to right (and vice versa) violently. people think im drink driving it looks that bad.

basically, both wheels are fighting for grip. go over a small bump on one wheel and the other wheel will steal traction and point you in a different direction.

how are your tires wearing? excessive wear on the inside?

You can buy the T3s in standard or race versions.

Brett, my RA40 does something similar... and Kmart was the last place to align it... so where do you think my problems stem from
