Sounds like a good idea to me!
Hi guys,
We have been enjoying our little photography thread and think there should be a rule to limit the size of the image to a maximum of 800 pixels either way (verticall or horizontally) to ease the bandwidth usage.
The regulars generally post up respectable sized images, however everynow and then someone will come along and post up their 5mp image straight off their camera
All I am really asking for is to add in the thread title *MAX 800 pixels at the longest dimension* or something. I am happy to moderate or enforce this, as I am reguarly in the thread.
Thanks.
Sounds like a good idea to me!

agreed - i resize everything i post in there to 800x600 (I think) and I've seen plenty of people post things smaller than that even which still look great..
A smaller image + a link to the bigger image if you want to share that is also an idea..
Totally agree, if you want to share a full size eleventymillion mega pixel image, link it. I don't there are any real pixel peepers round 'ere anyways![]()
yeah the twincam.info forums do this automatically... they actually resize everything down to 640x480, and make the picture a clicky link to the larger image.
Can vbulletin do this? If so.... implement it.
The Witzl sez YES.
...... butt scratcher?!
