    Default 1ggte speedo output

Im fitting an electronic speedo to my ra23 wi 1ggte, and ive got no idea where to pick up a signal for it(curse you mechanical speedo)-picking a signal out of the existing loom is out cause ive deep sixed it, so all ive got to work with are the original sensors in the engine gearbox-anybody got any ideas. i know thatll it have to come out of the gearbox if anywhere, but all i can find is the reverse switch. is there anything i can do or is it gonna be more pain the arseary

why not just remove the speedo sencor from the gearbox and install the original type...mechanical type from the celica?....that way you'll still retain your original speedo.

My W58 is from a GA70 Supra with a 1GGTE. Grab a Toyota electric sender, it fits in the same hole as the mechanical one.
