    Default GZE ECU Boost Cut?

Help! I am currently running on a AE92 , 4A GZE Engine, Stock ECU with E-Managed Blue Piggyback. I took off the Supercharger, and turbocharged it with a VF35 Turbocharger. This engine is running on 1 bar boost, and my tuner can't upboost to 1.1 bar, he said that this stock ECU has a Boostcut. He strongly recommended me to change to a full ECU to tackle the problem i am facing. Other than that, is there any way that i can upboost without changing to a Full ECU?

As far as i know the factory ECU can only handle 14-15 PSI. You may need to upgrade. I think you will need to bite the bullet and get a full standalone ECU.

I have however, heard crazy stories of people running 16-18PSI through the factory ECU.

map based ecu's do have a limter in there at around 1bar/ your best option would be a standalone.

old: those higerboosts are only ever seen on the afm motors not map and the map computer shits it self at 1 bar

on the MAP ECU it will cut around 14-15psi.

You can use the boost cut MAP clamp feature in the emanage to limit the voltage the MAP sensor sends to the ECU. Then you can run more boost without the ECU flagging a CEL or cutting out.

idealy you would want to get a 3 bar map sensor and wire it to the boost sensor port on the emanage so you can map the fuel over 14psi of manifold pressure.
