would proberbly be possible to swap over the the IRS rear end if you had a donor car...?
I recently recieved a MX83 with a 1jz puttin out 296rwhp. My problem is the car originally was a Diesel import so has a solid beam axle rear end with an E series open diff.
What if any option do i have for a LSD rear, Is it possible to fit hilux G series internals?

yeh i'm yet to look into this option, altho i would like to keep the solid rear end as the wheel alignment doesnt change as the car squats
there aren't really any options for an e series diff. You should get yourself a G series axle from a hilux. they have the best options for lsd's.
beer me!
think i'll have to head down a toyota wreckers with tape measure and have a look, if i'm lucky i might b able to fit hilux axles and center into the E series housing. Dont really wanna go weldin new mounts and stuff to a Lux diff
I did hear a rumor that the F series centre can be made to fit into the E series housing.
Plenty of F series LSD's around.

In the exact same way that you can fit a G series center in a F hosuing, and a 9.25" cutsom center in a ford 9".Originally Posted by TurboRA28
