    Default Running a Distributerless 2JZ-GE, Any idea's

Does anyone have any information on the ignition setup of running a 2JZ-GE without the distributer, Like on the Ovaboost torana. Looking at running a bigger turbo than will currently fit on my -GE engine.
Running a 7M-GTE Cam Position Sensor seams to be the done thing. But i am looking for more information on the ECU-ignitor-Coil side of things. Any ideas on what might work? I'im looking at running a Haltec E6x ECU wondering what i will need in the way of aftermarket ignitor/ignition module and coils.
    Thanks

anything wil work with an aftermarket ecu.

the haltech site sells a few products that will suit your needs , cas's etc. search for rwd
3sgte conversions, the same principle applies to you. i think the guys who have done this take the cap off and run the distrubutor as a cam angle sensor, using it as a home signal.

    Pretty much what berad said.

If you want to do the whole 7MGTE CAS thing, have a look thru www.supraforums.com (Yank site) and go to the "naturally aspirated" section. They have done this countless times.

I was going to run a supercharged distributorless 2JZGZE

Here are some pics for you.

7MGTE CAS drops straight in. Only need to grind down and redrill the mount point, but very simple.

1JZ coils work a treat if you wanted to run sequential ignition on the cheap.

    Hope that helps.

i recon a 1jz front cover (maybe oil pump too) would be the go for the crank sensor
then just use the dizzy for sync

    or...

if its anything like the 1ggte dizzy set up i used both the pick ups in the dizzy to run multi coils and just blanked it off with an alloy cover where the cap sits

That's what I'd do, except no need to use the dizzy for sync - he's using an E6X so it will have to be waste-spark.

it will still need a sync signal of some sort even with waste spark the ecu still needs to know when the sequence starts
