A prehistoric form of archiving... the documents are stored on a slide containing 100+ pages of text.
The machine is basically a projector with a massive enlargement and allows you to read single pages directly off the slide.

Note: River probably has one of these... of course it's been modified with a 10kW bulb so as to project the celica dragon onto the skyline like a hippy bat symbol.
The whole Toyota Parts catalogue of every part for every car all on miniature photographed pages.Originally Posted by Bananaman

Toyota fische have 13x16 pages x 4 pages.
His description says larger pages but yes it is a good price.
Would you be in a position to pick it up for me?

I believe that the toyman75 has a microfiche machine. It may never have been fired up though.
Problem is that there is a long way from your house to his.
YelloRolla's KE20 1/4mi = 11.32 @ 119mph @ 22psi on slicks
12.44 @ 113 mph on 165 wide street tyres
210rwkw - not bad for a smelly 3TGTE running pump fuel.
I am in the middle of moving house in the next 2 weeks, so I am not really in a position to help out. I imagine there will be some where around who will help out though?
Have a look on ebay before you commit to that one. There might be others too, that was just the first one I found.
My microfiche machine is in the Garage and I even used it the other day. Unlike my Celica it runs
Mine reads the smaller cards (ie you cut the toyota full page slides into 4 as marked out.)
I don't have the time to list all the microfiche sets I have but they are almost all from the US and Canada. The collection includes AE86, AW11, SW20, RA20 and most Crowns and CorollasWhat I need now is a michrofiche machine that prints.

Yeah I might get this one.
And the cost of digitising stuff is not worth the effort.
Better off taking a digital photo of your fische. it would be easy to make a bracket to mount the digital camera and you just go click click 13x16x4x10 pages.
Thats 7680 pages good luck
