not all JZX81's have the Digital Dash. If you're waiting for a cut, you might aswell start trying to source the fuel sender now, as it's a pain in the neck not having a fuel guage with a 1J.

a very very long time if you want a manual cut, as all the manual jzx81 cuts out there have been converted in japan prior to being crashed/chopped

Some dashes are electronic speedo's, some are cable speedo's, make sure you have the right one (or convert your cable to electronic)

1JZ tacho is not compatible with 7MGE if you still have that.
    Temp will work fine
Fuel level will not work without digital gauge sender

Rest is easy providing you have all the correct pinouts.
    Its just time.
    Hi there,

I have similiar problem here. I just mated my 3SGTE engine with the W58 gearbox. But I did this swap not on Celica body. I have succeeded connecting the digital sender of the W58 to the Apexi RSM.

But if I want my speedo and the kilometer on the dashboard to work ( which is manual ) what should I do ?? I do really need to know how many kilos has my engine run ? Or when it's time to change the engine oil, from where I can know ?

Please please help. i'm totally blind about this. Thanks a lot
