Default No O2 sensor on 7M-GTE is it a major problem???

Hey people just wondering if there is any drastic reason why an O2 sensor must be used.

Ive just got my soarer going with new turbo etc etc, and i havent yet installed the O2 sensor in the dump pipe. Is there any reason for concern? or just a matter of economy?

    Cheers

P.s. car seems to run VERY well, but it does concern me a little that it may be leaning out hehe

o2 sensor is just for emissions so ecu can compensate air/fuel ratios accordingly. Engine will run without it

O2 sensor is to improve fuel economy during cruise/light throttle.
while it is also for emissions, it can save you money

then again, if your tune is spot on, and the air temp and other corrections ar eperfect, you may not need O2 correction....
but chances of that are very low

fit the O2 and your cat convertor will be much happier

My 7m gave me issues without it at idle and low revs, however all it made it do is run fat... The car will run without it.. just use more fuel..

haha.. lol at matty using 7m..

STOMPS i am bloody loving the 7M again man, it farkn pegs!!!! just need some manual gears up in here and she'll be sweet!!! Be very interesting to get our 2 soarers side by side only prob is that i have serious issues with traction on anything more than 12psi....... even in third

Might have to dyno it first and see what she is makin with my few little additions and alterations

well if i can get mine up and running before Wed night im taking it to the drags.. Dunno what to expect, apart from rooting the clutch.. Like i told ya earlier, give me a 100m head start and it'll be even...

Good to see some 7m love.. i bet it will be making near 300 on 12psi.. maybe more with a t70.. manual will help ya overcome that lag issue.. clutchkick FTW..
