Central locking install ra23

I am in the process of installing central locking in my ra23. i allready have the wiring installed and i have a few ideas of where to mount the actuators but would just like some tips from people who have already sucessfully installed central locking on there xa2x

Any photos of the actuators installed would be of great help aswell

i mounted mine parallel to the linkage, and bent the metal so it looked like a sideways U shape and it works well....... well it did work then my two bleepy thingameebobs stoped working

the hole where all the links meet (lock and handle)

on the inside of the door skin mounted up and down and clamp onto the lock arm
that runs the same direction.

you'll find the key lock has a rod up and down ... then brackets to a left-right arm which leads to the inside lock.

doesnt interfere with the glass .. and no trim bulges.

I persuaded mine to run left to right in the hole but had to hack and slash to get it to work till i saw the up down method.

Cheers for the photo, It dont look very secure though! have you had any problems with it, and does it interfere with the door card at all?

works pretty good, has never stuffed up, I installed it in my green ta22 in 2004. Just needed to extend the loom for the left door as the stock ones where too short. It was a cheapo one from strathfield.
