    Default TA 23 Door Hinges

My TA 23 is off the road for a week or two with a blown head gasket, so I figure I can sort out the droopy door hinges at the same time.

What is the go with repairing or replacing the hinges so that my doors sit in nice and snug.

There is lots of adjustment in the hinges. You have to loosen off the bolts on the body side of the hinges and move door to desired location and tighten up again. It can be a bit tricky to get them right!

You can pull your old hinges apart..and drill and re-bush them i did mine at work..use some nolathane. Trouble is you need access to a lathe... Think you will find that there is a original plastic type bush in there..or not in there.. Someone is bound to have found something that fits.

My problem is slack in the hinge.

Sounds like the plastic might have worn away, thanks for the clue on what to look for.
