Brisbane Engine builders- 3T GTE??

Hi all,
I have asked this before, but can someone please recommend a good engine rebuilder in Brisbane?
Eg I need to get my 3T GTE head faced, valve grind, block bored etc. Nothing too special but I just want somone who does high quality work.

Hey Simon,

Peter Liddy at Sumner Park is awesome with cylinder heads, he's done quite a few heads heads for my dad over the past 20 years, including 2TG heads, and has a lot of customers from the motorsport industry, including Victor Bray.

As for the bottom end talk to Bryants Engineering in Salisbury, they did the 3TGTE bottom end that I bought, so theyve worked on them before. I havent heard anything but good about them, but I havent dealt with them personnally.

There's also Engine Engineering at Rocklea, they've done a few T and K blocks for me.

Thats about my extent of knowledge im afraid

Bryant's not cheap but well regarded.

TerryO on these forums might also be able to help out or point you in the right direction as he knows xA and 3S engines quite well.

Mine was build by Swift (used to be Rocklea, now at Archerfield i think), they're not a Toyota specialist, but they do build strong race engines.

terryo runs Road and Track out in Ipswich, he has all the gear to do all the machining, and is a very nice guy too. helpful

OK, well unless someone else recommends someone I might use Peter Liddy for the head and Bryants for the block.

they do really good work and are decently priced, they did love_ke70's 1g, and that hasnt blown up yet.... give em a call it cant hurt
