Cruz: answering your question for the wolf. If I start mine it idles low unless you hold the throttle open a bit. I just hold it at 1200-1300rpm for a bit and then let off and it will sit at about 800rpm and then as it warms up it gets to about 950rpm.
M800 option is for the lotto winners
Also, for any potential wolf users: full datalogging software coming out VERY soon! I can’t wait![]()

howdy me mate has an ltx for sale of a 1jzgte soarer auto ... it has been tuned for that car and now he has pulled it off as he is going to sell the car, the only difference between his and my car is that it has a fmic..a newer one... and thats it..would it be safe to put it on myu car or would it all be outta wack..can get it for about 700 bucks...that good ?
If your engine is the same it should be fine. I would get it dyno tuned just to make sure all is right though. AFAIK you can't swap microtechs between different engines but 1jz to 1jz should be fine. If not, I am sure a microtech guru will let you know soon enough![]()
yea just wanna make sure .. cause i can afford it but i cant really spend another 600+ on tuning the damn thing..it was a mild tune so only 193 kw atrw
Microtech tune should be done in 3hrs tops.
You can get away with an avg tune in an hour but it wont be as nice as a longer tune.

the guys down at Hardcore Racing Components in Brisbane have apparently got some pretty decent power using the stock computer. When I was there a while ago they claimed to have made 400hp with stock computer and stock injectors just a lot of fuel pressure. Obviously not an ideal setup but sort of highlights how far the standard ecu can be pushed
Personally though I've always felt ECU should be one of your first mods you do, that way as you continue to mod your car you dont have to select parts you want to use based on whether the standard ecu can work with them or not, you just buy the parts you wanted and retune
BoostedBMW: I have heard of other people making big power with the same setup you speak of but I agree with you that it is better in the long run (and safer) to have an aftermarket ecu. I think 99% of people would really.
If you use the same combination of sensors, the car should run alright. You will need to get it tuned though, so you have to think about that. If it's something small, and given it's an LT series, Microtech will reconfigure it, but you'll pay for it.
