I cant add pictures to my posts!

Can someone please help me, Im only new! I have put up a thread in members rides, but I had to put my pics up as attachments as I couldnt get the "insert picture" to work. I type in the URL in my computer after the http://, but when the post is up, there is a white box with a red X in it in its place. I will try adding a photo to this one, maybe yous can see what is happening...

you have to host the pics somewhere first ie www.imageshack.us then put that url in the box

ie you can't directly link from your computer to the forums, you need to have the photos "hosted". the site stated above works well.
