What do you need to know? How to do it? The TSRM might be useful to you:

in Richmond mate, that supra site's pretty awesome ma61turbo cheers. Was wondering how tight the head bolts should be?, I heard that toyota didn't set them tight enough in the factory.

I hope you will be using brand new bolts...I'd set them to around 65ft/lb. That should be plenty tight for the 7m-ge.

They'd be useful on a 7m-gte if you want to torque them up past 75ft/lb but they aren't worth it on the 7m-ge. FWIW I'm running stock Toyota headbolts on my 7m-gte at 72ft/lb with no issues.

My ARP head studs are torqued to 80ft/lbs as stated in the ARP instructions, on my 7M-GTE and I'm running 12psi, all good so far.
I had the head skimmed too, which I highly recommend you have done... Make sure you use lube when you install the new bolts, and follow the correct torque pattern, all SHOULD be fine and dandy...

started work on it today, took the head off, it looks pretty clean and in good condition but going to take it to Gorringes tomorrow and get it checked, they can skim it if it needs to be done. My mate reckons its been skimmed before as the compression is quiet high, 150 for the 1st cylinder, 190 for 2-5 and 175 for number 6. The supra TSRM says it would only be 156! We also noticed many bolts were not very tight.

Well, it was toyota that left them not very tight so im told, dont know the truth behind it though.
My stock 4M gets 180psi on every cyl, 156 can not be stock 7M-GE, maybe 7M-GTE with the turbo unplugged.

Does anyone know how much the head can be skimmed before the pistons start mashing the valves up? (For supra 9.2:1 pistons)
