    Default RT40 Corona Questions

Hello all, I just got a RT40 Corona and the two front door close mechanisms seem a bit kaput. The passenger door is better, where the mechanism on the door that meets the striker still clicks, but won't shut!? The drivers door spins freely....

Does anyone know if any other Toyota shares the same door close as the RT 40?

The car is a 4 spd column shift, and for the life of my I cant get it into reverse - all linkages seem ok, and I believe it to be a problem with the column shift, not the box, as I physically cannot get the shifter into reverse.
    Any ideas/feedback greatly appreciated

    Cheers

I'd say that the pins in the actual door hinges have flogged out causing the doors to drop.Easy solution is find another car and believe it or not the rear door hinges are the same just use those cause they would have less use.
    Cheers Brett.
