Well if u have a t3 flange turbo, you'll need to cut it if and weld a t3 flange on. Not a big problem, just added cost to the manifold.
Hey guys im looking at doing a 1JZ single turbo conversion as im putting the 1j into my RA-23 i was looking at the ebay manifold for the 1j which has the T4 flange and was wondering if that would be to big and how it would go on the motor.

or you can get t3 flange to t4 adaptor. They sit up pretty high though.
You can also just weld a t3 flange on top of the t4 one.
Unless you have steering box clearance issues I would stick with stock twins to start with. If you have seen the quickest 1jz thread, there is a 2950lb 200sx running 11's on stock turbos. A celica would be lighter than that![]()
you'll probably run into issues with the rear turbo hitting something, as it sticks out a fair bit.
your best bet is to go for a later model VVTi single turbo 1J.
