The 3S engine will bolt up to the 2S's bellhousing...





And that exhausts my knowledge of the 2S/3S parts interchangability

Most things that bolt to the block will swap but not much else

Can anyone confirm the oil cap will fit? very different head (cam/tappet) cover...

Sump and oil pick up, but sump has no baffles.

No to dizzy, No to pistons.

Ha ha thanks guys was thinkin head swap 2 give my rona a bit more power but .... keep block change crank, rods pistons ne more help d be nice n im gonna havta give that oil cap a go!

Well, assuming the oil caps are quite swappable, why not go out and buy a nice shiny blue one intended for an MR2, and fit it to your 'Rona instead??

Think he sold the car a week after though... Sounded like a stupid idea to me.
