Well it was a quiet dyno day... but that is always the case after a bumper dyno day (those who remember the 72 car dyno day will also remember the following 30 car dyno day)...... that said it was still good fun to catch up with all.

I didnt get too much improvement in power with the megasquirt-2, but i got a massive improvement in AFRs and a few more RPM up top. Not bad for my first ever attempt at tuning - this is pretty much all my tuning.

Apologies for the delay with the results post!

Firstly, thanx as usualy to Dave & Tom for sloggin it out in the Dyno Cell once again, and also the guys who were there early helping out with setting up! It was a bitterly cold morning so the efforts of all those there early is great...

This Dyno Day was obviously a small one, and with that came a few smaller numbers... I can only asume there's a few before runs in there to compete for the Most Improved in January.
We ran a total of 37 cars through the Dyno, with Lindens beast of a Hilux being the comic relief for the day turning a massif 11.1Kw

So without any more rambling, here's the winners...

Congratualtions to Glen (dong) for taking out Killerwatt King, and also a very big effort from Mos to claim his first trophy for a club event with the Most Improved, but to top it off he's also taken out the top of his class as well.

Thanx to everyone who came along to be apart of Dyno Day 15... hopefully we'll see a few more of you in January.

Lastly... the club meeting is on tonight. So trophies will be presented to all the winners. If this is one of you, it would be great if you could make it to the meeting for the presentation. (I'd much prefer to give the trophies out than to add them to the collection of old ones).

I took pictures of most of the dyno graps as well so I'll put up a results post with the relevant graphs tomorrow when I get them off my camera. I will remove the rego numbers from the graphs. If you don't want your graph posted please PM me and let me know.

Just for the record my car made 175KW popping off a cooler hose, then when the hose was hooked back up it made 269.8KW. I can't remember what the rules actually say about that situation but personally I wouldn't accept any trophies as it didn't make the result first time up.

Plus the car that did win my class is one of my favourite cars around I'm stoked to see it working well for Steve finally.

Well Done all the guys who won their Classes.....

I was honestly surprised on the turnout yesterday.... July is normally the big turnout day but it was a bit smaller yesterday.... However this made it a whole lot easier on us workers.

Congrats to Glen, on Killerwatt king to.... I bet you were not expecting that

Great results guys, seems Mos's V8 is going to give us N/A boys plenty to worry about.

yep, was a good day had by all, though the quietest one ive ever been too.

josh, cheers for the kind comments, and yes its finally good to get the car going the way it should have always been going really, its only been about 3 years, the figure is down a tad compared to when it was tuned the other week but you get that, like you said its just finally good to have the bloody thing going properly.

i didnt come down to try and win a trophy, as i knew you were always packing a shitload more power than me, but it is nice to get one all the same, even if it was by defoult
its my first ever toymods trophy

cheers josh and to everone else that worked hard to make the day happen, as always it ran very smoothly.

p.s, if someone could bring my trophy up on the classic celica cruise that would be muchly appreciated, as its a fair hike to come down on a monday night for a meeting with work and all
    cheers steve,
