October I think. Toynats and Toyota Fest are two different events on at different times of the year.

I'll head up for the drags again, last year was a bit of fun.

I should make the effort to get to the show as well..................

You also forgot the obligatory WSID Drag Racing that will be on Wed 3rd October.

I hope to see everyone out at both the show AND the drag racing this year!!

Just a suggestion, i probably should have said this at the meeting on monday, but is toy fest just a toyota vehicle display? this idea came to me in my dream, displaying toyota motors on stands and showing its custom internal fabrication.
For example, a 2T-G motor or any other motor you like, the head is on a stand that reveals a massive porting job and some tricked out stainless steel valve designs and stupidly cam combination and an un-connected crazy intake and exhaust system setups. For the block, it is on a stand with the timing chain cover removed to reveal it has the timing gears replacing the timing chain or something not seen before, an overly bored cylinder chamber and some fancy piston/rod and crank design combination.
Not really a suggestion but more of a fun custom conversion i would like to see at the show, a custom toyota ATV(the 4 wheeler motor bikes) using a 4a motor or any other motor with any NA/FI combination you choose. I have seen a subaru version using the ej20turbo motor in a NZ event.
If i deserve a flaming or neg rep for these ideas, please dont hold back as my creativity runs wild. Im hoping to get my 2nd celica there looking something stupid.

yeah, looking to freight a new toy over to Brissy, drive down to Sydney for Toyfest, then onto Melbourne. Still deciding on freight back from Melbourne or drive the bugger back.
