earliest 18RG powered cars, including the RA25.
A while ago i obtained a P51 gearbox from a toyota guy.
Just wondering if anyone out there knows models exactly they were available in? Also does any have any specifications / repair manual info which would cover this gear box?

beer me!
Here's some info for you
Have a look through here. You will find which cars came with the P51. Pretty much the GT spec cars had a P51 paired up behind an 18rg.

And here is a thread by RT104GT, which goes into great depth for reviving the P51

River knows all about the P51... quiz him. Good box, but hard to get parts for... W55 is a lot lighter on the pocket.

I have all micro fiche drawings and the bearing set part numbers and a complete spare cluster set.
The w50 case fits the P51 bits and there are many P51's around that people dont know about as most 18RG's came in with a P51 box fitted between 1984 and 1990
