Photography Tour 29TH April 2007 Sunday evening

I know that there a quite a few of you guys out there who are
interested in photography but might not know how to get started
and there's also quite a few guys who have a good idea and good tips
for those of us who don't.

My theory is that everybody has their own style and perspective on
things and what better way is there to learn then on location with a
group of people you can bounce your ideas off and get feed back and
ideas from.

So if you think you're up for it why not come out and show us your
creative side this time I thought we'd have a go at photographing the
bridge and the city sites around it.



DATE: 29TH April 2007
MEET:4:30 @ Alfred ST Mills Point (just under the bridge near the Olympic pool)
GET STARTED:5PM.........AS SUN STARTS TO SET

THINGS TO REMEMBER:
*Tripod is a must
*familiarise yourself with settings on your camera (read the book that came with it)
*jumper/jacket and drink
*fully charged set of spare batteries

Hey Craig,

I had a talk to Joel & I might be there, lets say im about 90% in favour to come.

I want to come as I'm hopefully getting a Canon 400D next week & I can at least get some location ideas & then once I have the slr I can compare picture quality.

I will post again a bit later, or I'll send you an sms if you haven't replied to this ok.

Thanks craig for organising it, nice small turnout of 4 people. Some awesome quality shots taken. After Puzz and Minh left Ben and I went for a drive around the area and got more pics from blues point. You can view all the pics taken tonight at www.corolla92.com/sam.

Anybody who missed this one, there will be more opportunities coming up at different locations coming soon. And for those who think "oh i dont have a fancy camera" as Pezman said if all you have is a normal compact digital camera, you will be surprised with the results you can get by playing with the settings in manual mode, using a tripod, etc, so come along you may learn some new tricks!

Cool, if there will be more of these that is great. Hopefully all goes well with getting my 400D & nothing will stop me coming on the next one.

Blues Point is great for pic's, here is one I got a while back, it was raining but I think it still turned out ok.
