Seats for MX10

Hi guys,

I have recently purchased a MX10 and the seats are Foobard, so I'm after some newer more comfy seats that either bolt in or require little modifications to fit.
I know MX62 seats can be "made" fit, I'm just chancing more options.

Any ideas guys?

Havent heard of anything that bolts in, the mounts are a lot higher on one side of the rails so they are quite odd. You might have to adapt someting to the standard mk2 rails.

Otherwise just hunt around for another pair, mx10 - 23 should all have the same mounts... Although this would mean staying spine bore equipped (someone else can explain)

I know what the seats are like...... my first car was a MX13

Im thinking perhaps adapting the X10's rails to a Set of X62's mite be the go. Well i know Joecool had them in his first X23 Coupe.
If knot a set of Smick stoko's will have to do...... Even though my back will hate me for it!

fwiw: the MX62 seats are pretty flat and soft -so you tend to roll around the cabin if you do any spirited driving... (i know wilbo will hate me fosaying this) a pair of Celica seats RA40 or newer would be better seating than cressida seats.

there's an RT142 corona at latrobe wreckers, i don't know whether the seats are still in it but i think from memory they were. dunno if they're nice or comfy, but they might be alright.

i can't remember exactly what i did to fit the cressy seats, but i think i managed to get the mark 2 rails to fit them.

I was thinking cressie seats for the size and the "X" (Chassis) factor + I know joe made them fit some how... Im more after Idears.

It is now.
So looks like ill be hunting down a set of RA40 seats then.... ill have to go on a wreaker-run this weekend then. You after any bits Joe?
