when i bought my half cut b4 conversion last time, it was already been converted from japan ... i bought the jzx90 cut and it came with a manual gearbox. So i thought it was the same normal and common w58 that most of the guys are running ..
so one fine day when i decide to change the gearbox fluid , wat i did was drain out all the old fluid and to make things easier for me i just open up the gearboot from inside the car hoping that i can open the shifter and pour in from there.. but what i found out is it doesnt look the way it should be.and i cant pour my gear oil from there ...i dont have the picture taken but i can describe... i search over the internet to see the gearboxes that toyota had made from the range of t50,to all the W series i went thru .. but it is not the same as what im having...
So to cut the story short i went to half cut shop today and saw this 2jz-gte laying on the ground with 2jz-gte 6speed gearbox attatched and it look familiar with wat im having... so i browse again and find out its the the 6speed is actually v160... however my gearbox look exactly the same with this v160 but it has only 5 speed....and i cant find any information about tis gearbox... it had a closer gear shift than the normal w58 i noticed.even though im running on 3.9 final drive..so wat could it actually be..? i doubt it is the Get Rag and im very mixed up now
Drift Drift Drift and drift untill getting high fever...

JZX90 Chaser would have had an R154 for sure. They also have an external shifter mechanism which is why you can't fill the transmission from the shifter hole.
