    Default Oil in inlet manifold?

hi im running a 20valve/4agze/turbo set up in my ta22. i have the blow by gases going straight to oil catch can, then to atmosphere. all of my intercooler piping is clean but when i took my throttle body off (running single throt custom plenmn) there is a layer of oil on the bottom of the manifold, where has this come from? what has broken, worn out?

    no PCV valve?
if not, only place it could come from is the turbo....

well if the cooler lines are newish, id be willing to bet its just residual from a while back, before the catch can, and before the cooler piping.

theres not much chance you'd have it in the intake plenum unless its all through the piping as well.

i think it comes from the turbo, both my road and race car has the same and the race car had a brand new turbo fitted and straight away there was a slight oily film in the piping

the seals in a turbo are like a little metal piston ring and a bit of an oil laberinth with a slinger on the shaft to throw off the oil so there is no real seal as such

a little oil will always seep through im guessing under no boost and idle it will leak the most, or on every shut down a drop might run through, as soon as there is positive pressure in the housings the oil will get blown back to the drain.

i just took it as normal

Could it be oil build up from the old emmissions gear?
