Injector question

Hi,
just a quick question... im after a set of injectors for my 7M.. ive found someone with 4, and someone with 1. Obviously i need one more but thats no problem.

Question is if i have 6 injectors which some are different brands, but the same "specifications" will that be a problem, or no worries??

it is better to get a whole set the same (but even then they may flow different)

unless you are prepared to have them flowed and then individually set the trim for each injector (which you may need to do with "matched" ones anyway)

i dont like the idea of that at all.People will go to great lengths to to achieve injector balance. With injectors of diferent types you will prob run into the prob of them both having different impedence .
Do they have the same impedence??

This will cause the injectors to pulse diferent to each other and could cause some cylinders to get less fuel than others causing a lean out.


All your injectors so be as to close to inentical as possible

Thanks for the replies guys. Its tough to find a used set of 6! Whats a rough fair price to pay for a set? (2nd hand or new?)
