They might fit. I noticed my friends Panasports spokes had clearance, possibly enough. Maybe using the Mazda MPV disc and Z32 caliper. I will be trying it for my '82 Ltype MA6x. If that doesn't work then later Z31 caliper with MPV disc.

Four 15x8 rims shipped within the US. OZ members will need to find a supplier locally.

I'm sure the 16" and 17" wheels will be slightly more. Using 15" as a baseline.

Info from US distributor, who sent me the pic and specs.

no need to find an aussie distributor, ive actually been liasing with Rota direct in the philippines in relation to these horny jobbies ->

theyre going to set me back 700 usd + they seem to think shipping will be around 300 usd. theyre really flexible and make a crapload of different offsets, so theres quite a bit of choice. they'll deal direct to the public, so no worries with finding a disty.

if you need to email them directly their address is [email protected]

i got a 24hr turnaround time response from them.

    Hi guys,

    Are they ADR compliant?

From the ADRs.Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 42/04 – General Safety Requirements) 2005

    25. TYRE AND RIM SELECTION
25.1. Tyres and rims recommended for passenger cars must be listed in the Tyre and Rim Standards Manual published by either the Tyre and Rim Association of Australia, the (US) Tire and Rim Association Inc. Year Book, the Japan Automobile Tire Manufacturers Association Year Book, the Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS-D4202) “Dimensions of Tires” and (JIS-D4218) “Contours of Rims”, or the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation (E.T.R.T.O.) Data Book.

However they would make a very nice race wheel especially due to the various off-sets and widths I can make use of, of course I also await, weights as a deciding factor.

    Regards

Those ones that Hamgatan is looking at are HEAVY. 17x8.5 is 12 Kg I believe.

I've seen this model wheel in person. Nice, but the spokes sit almost flush with the rim lip.

Good thing is Z32 calipers fit with ease.

    Rota also offers their Grid in 16 x 8.0 +10/+20 4h x 114.3 and 16 x 8.0 +10/+20 5h x 114.3.

    bah, no 6" no care....

they're not catering for the under 800kg class of vehicles boo hoo...

are they actually 2 piece? or dressed up 1 piece?
if 2 piece, those centres be good for calipers.. if other outers can be fitted..

225/50/16's ftw, would make nice track rims for the supra if they cleared the big brakes and were available in a gun metal grey.
    If in doubt power out
