They look like gas carbs to me... Ugly but makes the thing somewhat cheaper to run.

What it really needs is 8 throttles and a set of trumpets...

I would have thought they were SU carbs, although gas carbs make more sense seeing as SUs wouldnt flow enough for that.

They be SU carbs, same interesting vac design for actuating the float bowl at the top.

Karl, same engine mounts, adaptor ring and flywheel.

The 1UZ pictured above has 2 2" SU carbs and has has 2 Prelude distributors grafted on to the cam gears. It is currently for sale for $900 on Ebay.

Pfft! all you need to do is rig the powersteering up to the front brakes and it'll turn fine!
Brake one wheel and use the torque to turn

Though if you mounted it in the rear of a seca in an errr.... south-north orientation and chucked a diff at the front it could work
Reverse donuts sure would be fun.

The 4A is pretty small. It's probably taller and just generally bigger too.

I vaguely recall someone saying an MZ V6 could be mated to a W58 via an S-series bellhousing - but the starter motor would probably require some kind of engineering (unless it's in the valley?).

Width (with headers) would be interesting to find out about these motors - have notices a few V6 wagons at the Wacol ABC wreckers and have (foolishly) wondered how they might go in a RWD car.
