AE92's ran both C and E series boxes - any ideas which one they refer too?!?
Last week I read that a AE92 diff could be retrofitted into a T series Rrar end, making LSD cheaper and esier, eg quaife centers avaliable
I am very skeptical, VERY VERY,
Has anyone heard of this being done? or done it?
Or got any info on it for me? or even some one with a cheap AE92 box they would like ot sacrifice for teh greater good (i can donate a T seris diff)
Cheers

Not sure mate, but i found it a very intresting idea,
is the diff inside each box any different?
eg most aftermarket companys only list one AE92 diff
T series boxes were RWD?! ae92's ie c and e series boxes are fwd.. how could they possibly interchange?
I am the sun
I think he means that the diff in the C/E-series box is the same as a T-series center... or i think thats what he means.
MX83 Grande
DirtyWan Skyline GX
ae95 rear diffs are t series if thats what he means?
How about RAV4 diff's with torsen lsd.
Only prob is finding big spline axels.
Hmmm

P.S. Shhh dont tell anyone.
did u mean ae86 diff centre perhaps?
Nup,
It was deffently AE92, I cant remember where i read it but i deffently did
i have read that the ae95 4wd corolla wagon came with a kouki size t series diff but the axles have a 4x100 stud pattern
