1jz timing...

im not an expert in cars and i had seen nissan rb series engine tune their timing by adjusting cam sensor.... toyota 1G and normal engines can adjust the distributor but where does tis 1jz timing being set?

Can't be changed at all with the stock ecu.

In fact you can't adjust the crank angle sensor either when setting up an aftermarket ecu. For an aftermarket ecu you have to change the static timing in the ecu to equal what the engine is running rather than doing it the other way around (like nissans).
