big, and lots i think they're about 30mm, and about 30 spline. if i could find my spare axle i'd be able to give you a more accurate answer

just found my spare diff: the axles are 27 spline, ~27mm dia.

that's just the spline, the rest of the axle is 30mm or more. i reckon the hilux axles would be between 32 and 40mm at a guess

yeh ill confirm,

F series = 27mm diameter, 27 spline

Gseries = 30mm diamter, 30 spline

do the f series axels taper towards the end. im looking at getting a ms112 shortened down and all the diff places i talked to said that this would be a problem.

yeah they do, but they're the same size till about half way up the axle so you should be right.
