You sure that white "smoke" isn't steam? It's a 7m you know, probably yet another blown head gasket, so you should check that first.
hi my 7mgte is blowing white smoke and then dissapearing.
When im on the freeway or when i see the boost guage reading -0+ on the a puff of white smoke goes out for like 2 to 3 secs then dissapears. i have also tested when im trashing it, no smokes and im boosting at 5psi stock. i have check the pipe connecting to the inlet throttle and theres no oil.
Is my Turbo seals gone or my rings are gone.?

i reckon the tubo is leaking oil. that's why it's not blowing smoke on boost. but then again the same could be said about the valve stem seals.
how much smoke is it blowing?
beer me!

With the valve stem cells, I have just recently replace sparks plugs but on the number 6 sprak plug it had excessive oil on it.
did you check all the plugs? if it's just one cylinder then it has to be the valve stem seals on that cylinder.
if it was all cylinders, then it could be either.

valve stem seals is normally only when cold and is "normally" blue smoke - burnt oil = blue smoke
What do your coolant and oil look like?
Did you smell the plug? As in, you sure its not coolant or fuel on the plug?
do u mean what type of oil i used and coolent i usedOriginally Posted by Robbos_Toyotas

i still have to take out the turbo elbow and check and see if there any oil. and check if any carbon deposite.
check the shaft for play. if it's the turbo it'll need rebuilding or it could an oppurtune time for an upgrade![]()
