Yup, guy at the local turbo shop recons he can get me that with 420hp at the flywheel! Says gotta go for forged pistons and a hks turbo plus computer. Run 20 pound boost and all up about three and a half for the work. No reason to not belive him he has built some pretty nice drift cars and is currently racing em. That should equal about 350hp at the back wheels I think.![]()

Don't force it... use a larger hammer.
If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.

That sounds a little too cheap for a HKS turbo ($2k~), forgies ($1.5k~), and an aftermarket ECU ($1.4k~) let alone the mechanic's labour!Originally Posted by turmite
350hp (260ish Kw) at the wheels is certainly acheivable, but I'd say "The Price is Wrong"...
Ok, turb 2k, manifold by turmite, computer ebay 1k, next.... mind you I have access to laser cutter so?and I do my own work so doable.
Ps forgies come in at $800 in good old aus!
Your welcome
Wahahahahhahahah. I know i didn't contribute shit......... just wanted to feel important.......
Right.
When you find forgies for a 1g-gte, for $800, direct me to the place of purchase. Instantly.
