    Default Oxygen Sensor

    Hey guys,

I need to replace the o2 sensor in my 4AGZE. They dont have any in stock in Australia. So i am wondering is it the same as the o2 sensor in the 4AGE?

If so, what part number is it?

And does anyone in WA have one i can borrow/buy to see it it is the problem with my car?

    Cheers

how many wires does it have? 1? 2? 3? 4?

i guess it is a single wire with a flange.

you can usually buy flange from exhaust shop (or similar.. or make one with M18x1.5 thread), and then screw a generic one into it. you can get cheap sensors off ebay, but try to stick to bosch or NTK (or other known brands)

to see if it is the problem, put a multimeter on the output (neg wire of meter to ground) and see what voltage it is while idling and driving and report back

should read low voltage (under 0.5V) when cold, and the voltage should get higher as it warms up..

when you are cruising, it should go back and forth between sayy. 0-2/0.3 and 0.7/0.8V as the closed loop kicks in.

if it never gets up above 0.5V, then it's prolly either too cold, or cactus

Don't Denso make an o2 sensor for the 4AGZE?
