I can check, but I don't remember. Has Jerry asked?
Hey simple question, doesanyone know whether a 1ggte distributor rotates clockwise or anti clockwise?
yeah he has. and i got no idea. i think its anti-clockwise but im not sure.
I'm actually gonna go clockwise on this one... But I'll have to check.
Slightly OT, what's Jerry making for you?
Check this pic out.. Whilst this isn't a 1g dizzy, it is in a 1g head, which means it'll spin the 1g way. I'm certian it's clockwise.

I had a chat to him today and it sounds like he wants to use the standard shaft and housing and just put a vac/boost servo in it. Thats as well as putting a optical pickup in it so when i finaly have the moolah to organise a puter for it, ill have half a chance of getting it hooked up without having to sacrifice my family to the gods of ignition timing.
Is that a chrysler dissy?
I'd be getting him to change the cap and rotor setup too while he's there, because getting it to fire with an aftermarket computer can be a kent....
But yes, using the standard housing and shaft is a good idea, the servo inside with the pickup is a good idea too.
Just make sure he puts a 6 tooth hall effect sensor in it rather than a 1 tooth.
The one in the pic is a 5m dizzy, I've got a chrysler dizzy setup.
