I need to find a diff that runs somewhere between 3.5 and 3.7 ratio to fit my 84 Supra (inderpendant rear) if anyone knows what car to get one from it would be a great help. I have been told that the Fseries diff should do it, but which car would it be from. Also what model number ie - F055 etc... whould fit easily. Also do I have to replace the internals or will it be a bolt on replacement.

Excellent - thanx a heap - apparently one of the MA61 had a 3.7ratio - I will try looking for that one.

I have a 3.58 diff in my Soarer at the moment.
Just open centre, but it will bolt into your Supra.

I'll be removing it in a week

Thanks - but I really want LSD - how much for it anyways - might use as a test to make sure ratios are right.

You won't find a diff with 3.58 and LSD, you'll have to mix'n'match. Grab Cruzida's diff and get a diff shop to swap your LSD centre into it.

EDIT: check here to see how the new ratio will affect speeds in each gear:

So buy a new diff. Do a search for "TrueTrac".
