    Default 1jz going from hydrofan to electric fan for radiator

    hey all,

    when i pull out all the leaking lines for the hyrofan, what do i do with the two open holes that are left on the pump? has anyone done this before and can say for sure whats safe to do?

    Your water pump wont last long unless you keep some fluid circulating through it.
    Either replace the lines and keep the reservoir with fluid in it
    Poor some fluid in the holes and loop them with hose

    Have a search, im sure this has been covered several times

    As said, use a piece of hose loop, and fill it with oil. However, when your water pump does eventually die anyway, then replace it with a 'conventional' one and all will be fine.
