Are each of the top clips the same? or a mirror image?
It looks like you have the left and right mixed up, but that wouldn't be the case if they are the same.
i had some calipers rebuilt and now i can't figure out how the pads go back in with the little spring clip things. i asked the shop that rebuilt them but i don't think they can work it out either, and i can't get onto the actual guy that pulled them apart.
how does this look? or have i got it all wrong?

yep they are the same, the brake shop guy had the top clip on tghe other side of the pad, but that doesn't work cause there isn't enough room left for the disc between the two pads

on the hilux calipers the pin stop clip fits on the outside to hold the pins .... but yours are in the caliper ?

yeh they fit on the inside for sure. the pins aren't long enough to reach the hole on the other side if they are on the outside of the caliper.
