All the documentation is on the Adaptronic site so you can't go too wrong.

I was also looking at the Autronic but for less than the purchase price of that I got the Adaptronic bought, installed and tuned on the dyno for 5 hours. If you're not using the extra stuff of the Autronic why pay for it IMHO.
cheers mate, i also read the info on the site and was of the same interpretation that you just clarified.

Adaptronic has now been ordered, i guess we'll see how it goes.

How much boost are you running with the supercharger? Was that your dyno sheet on the adaptronic site with 212kw??

That one with the supercharger is Neil Griffith's in Queanbeyan - I think he's running about 7psi at this stage. I've got ITB's on mine.

shit thats pretty good then 212kw on 7psi!!!!

Man those individual throttles must have an awesome induction note on full stick ay??
I looked into buying a set for my crown but at $2k for the kit plus needing computer i couldnt really justify it. Not since rest of crown motor is stock as anyway, with no real plans to modify just yet.

From what cruzsida has said regarding stock 1UZ ecu's, it seems they are quite average compared to a well set up aftermarket setup. I imagine the aftermarket setup combined with an exhaust and those ITB's would really set free a lot of that power that was hindered by stock parts.

i would agree with him there, however that would be a jump of about 90ish hp, thats pretty bloody good i'd say.
Looks like he has cams and worked heads too though Might explain it a bit more.

He has a set of mild cams and mildly ported heads too.

I had reasonable gains when fitting the ITB's and a bit more when ditching the stock ECU and fitting the Adaptronic but I did that so I could get full control for when the 265 degree cams went in - that's been the biggest gain bar none. Peak power went from about 175kw (with Adaptronic & stock cams) to 194kw at the last DD with 265 degree cams but at 6500 it was more like a 40kw gain. Pulls hard right through to 7500rpm too.

I think the bottlenecks have now shifted to the stock intake runners and the exhaust so that's the focus this year.

    Sounds awesome too

Just asked Neil what boost he's running and it's actually 10psi sorry and the latest pull was 219kw.

You definitely get more for your money with a supercharger than with what I've done but it's good to be different hey
