Sun 25th, March Offical Cruise. Stitt's First! Picnic with a view.

Well some of you may be surprised to hear that I am running for Cruise dude. As no one else has applied here is my first cruise.

Where: Dobroyd Head
When: 12:00 Sun the 25th of March
Meeting: Homebush Carpark P6

Ok the idea of this cruise is a nice lazy Sunday afternoon drive to finish off the weekend.
We'll meet at Homebush Olympic Park, carpark P6 at 12 for a 12:30 leave. With the aim of getting to Dobroyd by 1:30-2 for a late lunch.

What to bring: As per usual your Cb set to channel 16, Some small change for the BBQ and some fold up chairs or a pinic blanket wouldn't go a stray.

There are toliets at the park and there is plenty of parking available.

The Route:
R out the car park along Australia Ave to Homebush Bay Drive
L onto Homebush bay drive, this turns into Mona Vale Road. (re group on Mona Road)
R into Forrest Way
L Warringah Road
R Wakehurst Parkway
Quick Stop off for re group half way down the hill
Wakehurst Parkway turns into Frenches Forrest road
(we follow the signs to Manly at this point)
then into Sydney road.
Maps on the day will show the roads up to the head land.

Should be a great day out it is a pinic spot with a view, so I hope to see you out

Might need to re-think the meet-up spot Stitty if you're referring to the old car-park we've always met at.. That's a big grass area now (with no driveways ) and no right turn onto the main road where we used to get out.

There's a another (much bigger) car-park on the other side of that main road and a little bit further down towards the Newington direction (if that makes sense?).

Don't know that destination at all, but might suss it out and see if we can make it along on the day

Paul, yeah that carpark was carpark 6c. The carpark you are refering to is carpark 6.

Dobroyd is over towards manly, you end up looking out between the heads.
