My guess as i've never seen the head of a 1JZ (but would be similar to the 7M), that it might be the cam cover seals leaking oil there onto the top of the spark plugs. What i would do is clean the oil off so it looks all nice and shiny and new again. Drive around for a week and check for oil build up in the same spot. If its there again it should be track-able. If not start with the cam cover seals.

I'm still trying to get around to replacing my sparkplugs..
The cam cover seals are known to leak cause the bolts holding them down come loose over time. They should be periodically tightened every so often.

I was assuming he was meaning oil on the eletrodes... and im not sure that has anything to with the rocker cover gaskets![]()
Worn bits like rings etc will cause that, lots of really bad things, i wouldn't worry about it, wasn't just a bit fuelly or anything?
nah not fuelly. ill give it a clean and do what negative boost said.. i dont think theres much wrong with the motor as it sounds smooth, not going through oil and havnt seen not one bit of smoke yet even on boost so im hoping its just the seals.
