Default Garrett GT3040; T04S Compressor vs GT40 Compressor

Hey guys, I have my eye on a GT3040, but it is the one which is based on the 7 blade T04S compressor, instead of the 6 blade GT40.
Can some one please tell me what the difference between the two are, and if there are any disadvantages of the T04S based unit?

    Cheers guys!

    Ben

From memory the t04s is an old design compressor and was superseeded by the gt40 compressors I.e 3240 / 3540 etc etc

Other than that a flow map would be your best bet to tell the real differences.

What are you planning on putting it on, and how much power is your goal.

TO4s (TSO4) is an older design, it's a garrett wheel model there are various sizes, but most common are the 62-1 and 60-1. They flow as much as the smaller GT40XX and GT42XX wheels.

not really worth considering, as HKS charge like a wounded bull, and the GT series wheels aer more efficient.
