Default 1JZ JZZ30 ECU D1 & FC COR Pins question

I'm fitting a JZZ30 1JZ into my Soarer, & have all the connections to fire the COR (Circuit Opening Relay) but does anybody know which one does what?

There are two wires on the yellow cabin plug that both fire the COR one is a positive the other a negative feed. There appear to be two options on the ECU that would obviously connect into these.

One is FP the other is D1 anyone know which one is which?

di and fpr or fpc are not for cor

they goto a fuel pump ecu

the cor is more or a basic relay that supplies power to the fuel pump ecu
the fuel pump ecu controls the 2 stage voltage to the pump

i just use a tachometric relay to turn a relay on to give power to the pump

you cannot run the cor thru di or fp like a std toyota setup

Yep as said xZZ3x run a 'fuel pump ECU'...it is located after the B pillar on the passanger side in the car so doesn't come with a front cut!

I haven't looked into what signals come out of the ECU on FP and D1 so will be interested to see what you find...

    http://www.1jz-gte.us/documents/SubDocs1/WiringEFI.pdf

On here it clearly shows that:

pin4 at the COR is fed by the G wire that's the FP on the ECU which has to be a switched earth by the looks of it ? is this not correct???

Are you sure the diagram what you listed to isn't JZA70 not JZZ30 [i'm pretty sure what you linked to is JZA70]. (the link gives me a "Bad encrypt dictionary" error when I try to open it).

if the ecu has di and fp or fpc or fpr
then it runs a fuel pump ecu
ut they can fetch around 150 to 200 bucks from some wreckers
i have one or two but i know no one wants to spend that mutch when doin a conversion
cause you can use a tacho relay with good results

but if you want to spend 150 to 200 on the fuel pump ecus then pm me

    http://www.autoshop101.com/forms/h42.pdf

    Pages, 10, 11 and 12.

Looks like FPC is PWM. (5V AVG -> full battery...2.5V->10V, 1.3V AVG -> 8.5V at fuel pump)

and looks like D1 is used to trigger errors from the Fuel Pump ECU...

i usually dont run the 2 speeds on the fuel pumps in conversions
90% of the time the customer will mod the engine so running full battery voltage
    is best extra safety
the cor on those 1js is basically a fuel pump relay it supplies powe rto the fuel pump ecu
the cor i think is controlled by ign and i think no wires from ecu goto cor

i can check my diagrams but too lazy this time of night

The wiring diagrams may be one thing but I suppose the simple solution may well be a switch:

Mounted on the dash etc that's simply switched on sending the required earth feed to the COR when you start the car & automatically switches off when the engine is turned off. Sounds simple enough yes?

Mine is a track car primarily so this should'nt cause too many issues I hope.

Is there a switched earth anywhere else on the ECU that will do the same job?

depends how hard it is to get at the switch after you rolled it many times with the fuel pump pissing out fuel
dont be so tight cant believe this thread has gone on so long
goto yr local gas or lpg supplier and get a tacho relay

no wonder i dont help people out as much
    no one fuking listens

    cptsideways,
listen to sideshow, he knows his shit, if the was a easier/cheaper way of doing it he would have suggested.
Sideshow made up a tacho relay for my conversion, all i had to do was connect 3 wires, fuel pump primes when igition is switched on, the pumps away merrilly during cranking and more importantly while the engine is running...so easy.
you 've already spent more time trying to figure toyota wiring diagrams than to go but a tacho relay and install it.
