my room's fully booked @ teh Matilda, and I reckon the whole place would be close to booked out by now, if not already gone.

Dust: try the main toyota nationals thread - there's probably a few people with un-booked beds still. And the reason your mates like holdens & fords is because they are in awe of the p0war of the 1jayzee?

1JZ~lux/others: maybe we could have a second meet point along the ipswich motorway? Where are you picking your mate up from?

Form has been faxed and money has left my bank account ... that pretty much means i've got to go

I wish I could sit in the back seat of my Century on the trip down, instead I have to be the sucker who stays awake for 12 hours while the gf sleeps peacefully.

ill be there - in the hilux which is EFI this time, so only 2 or 3 stops is neccessary hahaha. hopefully i have no "bad earth" problems this year!!

I strongly suggest we leave later (say 7pm at least) like the time i left last year and perhaps stop on the way for breakfast before coonabarabran - that fog near coonabarrabran was absolutely farked!!!! sitting on 60km/hr on a 110 stretch with nothing bar driving lights on didnt really do it for me! An arrival time at dubbo of about 8-9am doesnt really worry you guys does it??
    Heres the route,

Brisbane - warwick via cunningham hway.
warwick to dubbo via the newell highway - i forget the towns in between, but its all the one hway.

we should run a sweepstake for the obligatory electrical fault at 3am at a deserted petrol station?

blake: a thread on the first page has a suggested route with proposed stops - same as what you've listed

i vote we make Wilbo draw a up a map with times and distances and other stuff ... his engineering drawings are pretty damn neat so his map drawing skills should be OK?

I'll most likely meet you guys in Warick as I'll have to pick up my mate in Jimboomba.
All the rooms with two single beds are gone, I got the last one.
It'll be interesting how my lux will go for fuel. I just got cold air induction and will be getting the boost wound up to 14psi and a retune the Monday before Easter.
